I’ve got a S&W 340PD–a.357 Magnum snubbie–and I’m looking for a bring together of holsters for it.
The first holster I need is a take holster. I’m not particular about the materials but I want it to be as change state as possible while comfort breaking up the gun’s create.
The second would be a belt holster with a retention device–preferably NOT a bind (I dislike straps and the gun being hammerless a bind wouldn’t likely bring home the bacon anyway.) I like leather but ordain believe options. Although it ordain be an OWB holster. I sitill want it to be as small as possible for concealment under an untucked shirt.

I have a uncle mikes pocket holster but a word of caution. Unless you feature pants that are very baggy it ordain definitely “print” its hard to enclose that cylinder and the shape is unmistakable. Ive had my beat luck with IWB “in the waist band” holsters and desire both Galco’s under adjoin model (allows you to tuck you shirt over it and into the pants completely concealing the piece) and Don Hume’s with belt clip the belt clip works as long as your shirt or jacket will cover it. Ive tried ankle holsters and just can not get comfortable with that style of carry.
Most folks that carry regularly end up with a draw beat of holsters and don’t really like any of them but undergo some they can live with. IWB holsters are good but work beat for a flatter auto pistol than they do for a revolver. (IMHO). However I would look at the offering from Kramer. Galco. El Paso Saddlery and Mitch Rosen. These are not inexpensive makers but they offer some very book holsters. I’m rather fond of Kramer as they use horsehide which hold it shape better. For an IWB a Kramer ordain simply not collapse when the pistol is removed and you can re holster with one hand and they do this without any metallic support on the holster.
all the above answers are good but i would try your local guard supply hold on that way you can actually see,touch,conclude,and try different holsters they are the experts if the field and know what works and what does not my second choice would be try a sporting goods hold on that carries holsters
it is such a be of personal choice there is no way to answer. It would be desire buying boots that fit me and giving them to you. Talk to your retailer and see if you can try some different styles. If all else fails have one custom made. Many Upholstery shops saddle makers and boot makers undergo the tools materials and know how.
