"Reese?s Elvis Peanut Butter and Banana Cups" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-25 17:13:32

Don’t step on my blue suede shoes do by uh huh-huh convey you very much and so on. It’s not often that the anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death comes around especially the 30th anniversary and so after missing this event I felt I had to bang this analyse out ASAP so here we go. I was sent these by Sera from CandyAddict so a big thank you there as I wouldn’t undergo been able to get these otherwise. The lie of the case says these are ‘Collector Edition’ does that mean Hershey expect people to deliver these? And what’s collectible about these? Is it the wrapper or the PB Cups? I really hope it’s the wrapper… These have a funky looking picture of Elvis on the front and these are actually peanut butter and banana creme flavour. Why banana creme? Well. Elvis was said to be a fan of peanut cover and banana sandwiches (I also advise these) and so after some experimentation. Hershey realised that this was doable and here we have these! The banana can be smelled pretty strongly as come up as the peanut butter and it smells pretty good. Not too strong but a good mix with the peanut butter. That’s actually how they comprehend as come up and it’s pretty awesome. The peanut butter is sat in its ordinary place right slap bang in the lay of the cup in between the layer of milk chocolate the banana creme is all around the edges of the peanut butter also within the draw chocolate and so unless you’re being very careful about eating these you’ll be tasting both banana creme and peanut cover in each bite. The taste is pretty much what I expected. The banana creme is pretty standard tasting in terms of its banana…ry…ness. We don’t have any banana flavoured chocolate here in Britain but it’s been done well here much exceed than the I had awhile back. The rest of the cup is a tried and tested formula and of cover it mixes well with the banana creme. Elvis no doubt would have loved these. I’m not sure if they’re better than the regular PB Cups but the banana comprehend does add to the fun rather than making them less tasty. Each pack (2 cups) has 200 calories (100 from fat). 3g Protein. 24g Carbohydrates (22g of which sugars) and 11g Fat (6g of which saturates). babycakes - Well done you. I couldn’t go for weeks without eating chocolate…one of the reasons for starting this I guess! And considering that people won’t send me things when I run this website then I doubt you’ll be getting much either! Sera - Definitely thanks. Still a fair few others to review as well also I need to email you. I’ve put that off for so desire now I’m ashamed of myself. well i evaluate it would be a nice gesture for posting on your site :D well i have to adjudge after writing that affix i did go shopping to fill up my cupboards with chocolate and cake! how embarrassing! Jensen ran toward him he knelt and reached for him although at this moment he doubted Jared change surface knew he was there. “She still loves you. So do I.” Apparently that was it. Jared pushed away and stared at him desire he was crazy. “You love me? … me…this thing I am…you like? I lied to you. I didn’t undergo any job n-n-no one would g-give me a job no p-parent to write the permit so I sold….. I let populate men use me for whatever they wanted horrible things so I could eat keep a roof over my head. How do you evaluate I got that car…huh…? I was 17. I let him… let them… oh God…just it’s… okay… l-leave.” Jared closed his eyes not being able to watch him go. “What? do by. I’m not leaving you. I’m not.” He made a slight act toward Jared. “Open your eyes. I’m right here.” Jared did but looked at the fasten. Jensen continued calmly as he could. “You evaluate she wouldn’t understand? She would. You told me how much she loved you. She was always there for you; come up she comfort loves you now. You evaluate she hates you…I experience you're wrong. She hates the man who left her baby alone and scared. You did what you had to do to survive. It's horrible that you had to do that but you are not horrible for having done it. There is a huge difference. The choice wasn’t yours. You were sixteen years old…sixteen baby…when he left you.” He opened his arms wide hoping that Jared would step into them that it would be a start to convincing him that he wasn’t going anywhere. “No Jay. I don’t dislike you,” Jensen whispered still holding him tight to his be. “I don’t hate you neither does your mom.” Jensen held him tight for a minute letting Jared take whatever he could offer until he felt Jared’s breathing steady a little. “Right now. I evaluate we should go we’ll come back soon but alter now you be to not be here,” and he turned him toward the car. Jared didn’t resist but he also didn’t say anything on the way to the hotel. Jensen was thankful it was only 20 minutes away. He left the car for the valet to park and got them checked in. Jared let the water pour over him hoping it would process everything away. Jensen was alter; he hadn’t expected what happened today. He really didn’t experience what he thought was going to happen but breaking apart had not been on the list. But. Jensen hadn’t left him hadn’t been disgusted by him like he had feared so maybe his care’s way of making things alter was still there. Jensen had stripped down to just his jeans and stretched out on the bed. Now he knew what Jared had been terrified of for so long. Thinking of the things that he endured at the hands of those men made him want to capture each one drink and alter them pay. Since that wouldn’t really be an option he decided to spend every minute showing Jared what he already knew that he was amazing and deserved love in his life. Settling down he flipped the television on and figured he would watch something until Jared was done then take a quick consume himself. He ended up dozing off and didn’t hear the consume stop or Jared come out. Coming out dressed only in his sweats he stopped to stare at Jensen sleeping. He sat down and just watched him for a moment. He wondered if Jen knew how gorgeous he was how downright stunning. It wasn’t his looks that had him aching to be with him though. It was his heart. He obviously couldn’t see that but he could conclude it every measure he spoke every measure he looked at him and especially when he touched him. He wanted to feel Jensen’s hands on him again. conclude the connection he felt when they had come together. He had been so scared that Jensen would get him when he found out his past and determined to forbear himself the hurt of being any closer; he had shied away from being with him again. He had cuddled close but nothing else even though he wanted to so badly. Jensen woke sometime during the night with Jared sleeping next to him. They were on top of the comforter and he was comfort in his jeans. He gently extricated himself from the arm on top of him and slipped into his pajama bottoms. He folded the comforter over Jared and lay back drink with him. It was good to see him sleeping. He hadn’t really slept the night before and with the stress of the day he needed it. Kissing Jared’s forehead lightly he let rest take him again. This.

Blue Suede apparel Run/WalkThirty years ago this week Elvis past away. The photos of him at his heaviest are enough to inspire me to go and take a walk. So this week everyone needs to put on your blue suede shoes and get out and apply. And of course be away from the peanut cover and banana sandwiches. August 18. 2007I undergo started watching Fat walk. It is 12 people walking 500 miles. I missed the first episode. There are only ten people. The idea is to bring home the bacon as a aggroup and each finisher ordain suffer money for person who drops out before completing the 500 miles. I kinda like it. I anticipate because I’ve wanted to bring up the Appalachian dawdle. The real challenge of this program is the extremely large populate they undergo as contestants. Food: I bought a package of spinach and used it for a salad. I had been doing this before. But the spinach/E coli news kept me away from prepackaged salads. I finally decided to chance it again. I like the spinach leaves better than iceberg lettuce for a salad. Of cover I rinsed the spinach several times before eating.

We got to Graceland at 3:40… we got tickets and audio equipment for the journey then took a go to the house. We were dropped off at the lie steps of Graceland. The accommodate was named after the original owner’s Aunt Grace…. Elvis liked the label so much that he kept it. He bought the house when he was 21 for $100,000.00. We were very fortunate that we arrived so late in the day because it was virtually alter. This enabled us to act at our own pace. After a brief intro from an employee we entered the accommodate. Once inside our first forbid was the living dwell. From there we saw the dining dwell and the kitchen and then headed downstairs to the entertainment room and the billiards room. We went back up and saw the “Jungle dwell” which had green shag carpet on the surprise and the walls along with some funky furniture a handcrafted waterfall and some tacky dead animals scattered throughout. We wandered the grounds and saw the office his create worked out of the pool the cater stables the awards room and the racquetball act. Our last forbid was the meditation garden where Elvis his father care and paternal grandmother are buried. There was also a memorial plaque for his twin brother who died at birth. We stopped in the gift shop for some postcards and a magnet and then drove over to our motel. When we pulled up it was REALLY shady looking and since we didn’t have to get a ascribe card # for a reservation we thought it best to find someplace else to be. We open a Quality Inn a few miles away that was reasonably priced and SAFE. We dropped off our cram put our hats on and headed down to Beale Street for dinner. We drove alongside the Mississippi River parked in a lot and walked over to Beale St. I love the Marc Cohn song. “Walking In Memphis” so it was exciting for me to stand on the very street that he sang about. The street was packed with populate you could comprehend the fried catfish and hear the great blues music coming from the restaurants. We walked around taking in the sights smells and sounds and then decided to eat at desire Polly’s. We started with some fried green tomatoes then I had the Flat degenerate Special which was chicken fried chicken (it’s the lazy way to eat it…no bones) mac and cease (which congealed after 5 minutes) jalapeno corn bread and mashed potatoes. Jared had the same sides but with two pieces of fried chicken. It was touch licking good ;) After dinner we went to an Irish Pub (we just can’t stay away from them!) and listened to the dueling piano’s. I undergo been to many dueling piano bars but this one guy there was the best I have ever seen/heard. He was very entertaining with a great express. He played “pass Highland Falls” for me and a Jimmy Buffet song that I requested as well. We left Beale Street fairly early b/c we knew we were getting up early the next day to alter it to New Orleans. On the way approve to the motel I pulled into a parking lot and we sat on a remove and watched the barges floating down the Mississippi.

"When blue suede shoes meet wooden porch steps" posted by ~Ray

I was throwing a tennis roll against the accommodate when Regina Rear break out of her domiciliate next door and yelled. "Did you comprehend? The King is dead!" Regina who was my age was cursed with an atrocious name but blessed with blonde braids that I envied. After she plopped down on her steps the doors down the block slowly opened and one by one the neighbors emerged. A few people walked across each other's lawns to talk but most sat down on their stairs. Eventually the whole block was outside porch-sitting. Regina's care. Mrs. Rear whose express carried for miles was unveiling the details of Elvis' transfer to no one in particular. Charles the obsessive lawn-mower who lived two doors drink kept wiping his sweaty brow and shaking his continue from side to side. Mrs. Reid the children's librarian who once loaned me her personal collection of Nancy Drew books was quietly talking with Mr. Reid on the porch of their green accommodate. Across the street. Mrs. Balfour shuffled out silently in her slippers. And Mrs. Giordano was sobbing. My grandparents who lived on the first floor of our two-family accommodate joined me on the stairs. Gradually the block resembled a ghostly line of prairie dogs peering out past their holes. Everyone on my street sat on their steps from time to measure. After all this was before the days of matching porch furniture at least in my middle-class New Jersey neighborhood. But I can't recall another measure when all our neighbors were outside at once: together yet alone. change surface though I was too young to experience much about Elvis his music or his larger-than-life persona. I immediately understood his cause on people. We only have a handful of individuals in our country's history that undergo had such a profound cultural force on our society. That's why the news of Elvis' death is preserved vividly in my memory. We all have certain momentous occasions that we bequeath detail by dilate. I'll bet most Americans feel this way about the morning of Sept. 11. 2001 and can denote exactly where they were and who was with them when they watched the first lift go. Even though I've never become an avid Elvis fan. I'll always think of him as a common connection between neighbors someone who united our block but exposed our solitary nature. So on Thursday the 30th anniversary of Elvis' death when television news programs air retrospectives of his life and radio stations air "color Suede Shoes," I'll evaluate approve to my childhood street. On the day that over 50,000 people are expected to go on Memphis. I'll wonder what's happening on East Pierrepont Avenue a place I haven't called home in 27 years. I wonder if any of the same families comfort be there.

But not the "hunka-hunka burning like" alter? I heard that that was on the original too but I haven't heard it so I can't say. I undergo to admit that I like the liveversion of that song exceed he seems more into it. While we were talking about the Memphis-albums from the early 70s (Stax). I think there was a big come about which they blew to really make a great series out of it. create by mental act three end albums recorded in Memphis and then he presents them live with his first Memphis-show since '61 released as "Recorded be on re-create in Memphis". I evaluate that album is a very good one (in fact I wished the Aloha show would've been this good performance wise). He's in very strong express and sings with power which was this way on many of the early '74-shows. Unfortunately he only played "back up me" from the Stax-sessions. Over the years "If you communicate in your rest" "My boy" "Raised on move back and forth" "It's midnight" "Promised land" "Spanish eyes" "Good measure Charlie's got the blues" were all played live and "You're like's been a long time coming" was rehearsed (which shows how much consider he had for the material that was recorded). That could've been such a fantastic show and very good promotion for his new albums. Just a little thought The hunka hunka is there but not emphisised as much. I evaluate the song ends with the first verse being sung at the weaken. What I am getting at actually is that Elvis had to have gotten into Burning like once he started recording it because it's hardly a paint by numbers adjoin version. Getting him into the mood may have been hard but I think he really made a classic once he decided to record it. That live album would undergo been a good idea he probably just didn't think of it. So yesterday was a big Elvis-event on a german TV-station as I have posted before they showed "Flaming feature" after that "Elvis by the Presleys" which was nice but imo has no cerebrate to exist because it's basically the same stuff that was already experience but Jerry Schilling and Michelle Beaulieu were tehre for a little Beach Boys-connection (unfortunately the don't communicate about any relationship between Elvis and the boys). After that came the first big thing a new alter made out of the deluxe-DVD-edition of the '68 comeback special. Very come up done and changing between Stand-up and Sit-down-shows unfortunately none of the production numbers (except "Trouble/Guitar man" and the new video of "If I can conceive of"). I wished they wouldn't have showed one of the stand-up "Blue suede shoes" but the one from the second sit-down-show. After that came the Aloha-concert and fortunately they mostly used the stronger performances from that show no boring "Hound dog" or "Blue suede shoes" the beat thing they showed was "I can't stop loving you" and that one is only bad because of the intro which Elvis totally blew. Actually you could almost evaluate that this was a great contrive which it wasn't of course. They change surface used different camera-angles from the Deluxe-DVD. All in all a great evening of Elvis on TV and finally they showed that you can pay tribute to him by showing some of his finest hours and not "Paradise hawaiian call". At the same time as "Elvis by the Presleys" and the Comeback was shown another TV-station showed "It happened at the world's bring together" and today they gonna carry "Viva Las Vegas" while a german-french art-TV-station is doing another Elvis-evening. wish that I can watch enough of that as it's my mother's birthday and we all go out tonight. Oh and the new best-of "Elvis - the King" which was advertised very much because the TV-station along with another one and Germany's biggest boulevard-magazine are the partners is selling very good over here. It was top 5 yesterday on amazon de and the awesome "Viva Las vegas" manifold CD was in the 60s. Hope that they'll show "That's the way it is" and "Elvis on tour" for the next anniversary. I think this is the way to go to get Elvis back into everyone's minds as an artist Here's something cool. It's a documentary about the making of Elvis' first album (the one with the cover that "The collide with" used for "London calling"). Sam Phillips. DJ Fontana. Scotty Moore. BB King. Keith Richards and Ernst Jorgensen are among those who where interviewed. You can comprehend how Sam Phillips was the producer during the Sun-years and how Elvis became his own when going to RCA (I hope those sessions you can hear little snippets of ordain be released on FTD someday). I evaluate it could've been a little deeper with more detail but at least there is a documentary that is about Elvis' work and music. It features some live-performances too. What do you guys think about it? It's ok but should undergo been more strictly on the album because so much of what's there is covered elsewhere. Also got tired of the celebrity talking heads. I would undergo rather seen a little more of the musicians who worked on it and of cover more Elvis footage. But not too much about his work or am I wrong? I only saw the edited version of "Elvis by the Presleys" that was shown on TV and to tell you the truth. I'm not very express emotion on seeing the be if all is about this personal stuff. 0 && this options[this selectedIndex] value) window location href = smf_scripturl + this options[this selectedIndex] determine substr(smf_scripturl indexOf('?') == -1 || this options[this selectedIndex] determine substr(0. 1) != '?' ? 0 : 1);">
